What ETC is
EuropeanTravelCompanies.com is a marketplace that connects travellers, travel companies and creators. We are not a travel agency, tour operator or organiser. We do not sell travel and we are not a party to any travel contract you enter into with a company listed here.
When you accept an offer, your contract is with that travel company. Its terms, cancellation policy and consumer protections apply to your trip; ours apply only to your use of this platform.
Traveller obligations
- Provide accurate information in trip requests. Companies quote against what you write.
- Do not submit requests you have no intention of pursuing.
- Review only companies you have actually worked with.
Company obligations
- Hold and maintain the licences and insurance your jurisdiction requires, and keep them current with us.
- List only destinations and services you genuinely operate.
- Honour quoted prices for their stated validity period.
- Do not solicit, incentivise or fabricate reviews.
- Respond to leads you accept, or decline them promptly.
Creator obligations
- Connect only accounts you control.
- Do not inflate metrics through purchased engagement — connected analytics make this visible.
- Disclose paid partnerships as the law in your jurisdiction requires.
- Deliver what a campaign brief agreed, or communicate early if you cannot.
Verification and listing removal
Verification is a check, not a warranty. We may suspend or remove a listing where insurance lapses, licences are misrepresented, complaints go unresolved, or reviews are manipulated. Removal decisions are not affected by subscription tier.
Fees
Travellers pay nothing. Companies pay subscription fees per the published pricing, plus commission on bookings completed through the platform. Creator campaigns carry a platform fee deducted from the campaign budget. Fees are exclusive of VAT, which is applied where applicable.
Liability
We are responsible for operating the platform. We are not responsible for the performance of travel services sold by companies listed here, and nothing on this site limits your statutory rights against the company you contract with. Our liability for the platform itself is limited to the fees you paid us in the preceding twelve months, except where such limitation is not permitted by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which the operating entity is established, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections available to you in your country of residence.
